  • Fire alarm last nite.


The thunder and lightening set off the fire alarm in our hotel last nite.
We had to evacuate all da in-house guests asap.
Being a Manager On Duty,
I had to go to each floor to escort guests to the nearest exits.

  • Today is not my day.


Today is not my day.
One of my staff called out sick this morning and I was short of staff at the front desk.
It was crazy busy like hell this morning and allergies are killing me now in the mean time.
I took pill but it does not seem to work at all.

We had a Mother's day brunch in la hotel today.
There were tons of food in the banquet halls.
We were told to get some leftover food after all the guests left.

Well..I was off on this coming Monday and Tuesday
and just got a call from Lou asking me
to help out on Monday due to heavy check-ins.
It doesn't hurt to stay a little bit and get overtime.
